International volunteer opportunity for children’s summer camp in Estonia

A heartwarming adventure for this summer!
Post cover

We are opening a call for one or two international volunteers to join the NGO interEST summer camp team in Estonia in June 2026. We are looking for responsible and motivated individual who is looking for a structured, safe and professional environment. The role is intended for a person who is comfortable working in a team and communicating clearly with both children and staff.

The volunteering period includes 6-day summercamp for ages 11-14, total of 40 participants. The camp takes place from 14 to 19 June 2026. Accommodation and meals are provided for the entire duration. We encourage you to discover around the region independently before or after the camp, for example Pärnu city is so-called summer capital of Estonia and 23th June is biggest holiday, midsummer Eve.

The camps are based on non-formal education principles and include organised activities, games and group-based learning. Volunteer supports team and children in daily activities, supervision and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. Days start around 8:00 and finish 23:00, with few small breaks to rest. There will be a chill day for each member of team, where half day is spent resting. Previous experience with children or youth work is an advantage but not a requirement, more important is that you truly want to be part of this.

Accommodation and meals are covered throughout the whole camp period. Travel costs to and from Estonia are not covered. We can't provide you with visa or any support regarding that matter. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact us at laager@interest.edu.ee.

Applications are submitted through our online application form. We ask applicants to share as much information as they feel comfortable with, as this helps us better understand their motivation, background and suitability for the role. There are no strict requirements regarding length or format, and we encourage honest responses rather than polished or promotional answers.

The application deadline is 23:59 on 15 February 2026. After the deadline, all applications will be reviewed by the organising team, and selected candidates may be contacted for a short follow-up conversation if needed. Final selection will take place in March 2026. We reserve a right to not have any volunteers.

All applicants will be informed of the outcome once the selection process is complete. If you have any questions about the application process or the volunteering role, you are welcome to contact us before submitting your application.
