Donate to Build a Children's Summer Camp in Estonia

interEST MTÜ is an Estonian nonprofit that has been running children's summer camps, Erasmus+ youth exchanges and educational programs since 2016. Every summer, hundreds of children experience camp life at rented facilities. Renting works, but it limits us: dates depend on someone else's calendar, we cannot invest in the environment, and every euro spent on rent is a euro that builds nothing lasting. We want to change that by acquiring land and building our own camp base — a permanent home for youth work in Estonia.

The Goal

We are raising €1,000,000 to purchase a property and build the first phase of the camp base. interEST has already committed €100,000 of its own funds to the project. We are looking for donors who want to be part of creating a place that will serve Estonian children for generations.

How Your Donation Is Protected

We handle donated funds with the same seriousness we expect from ourselves in everything else.

While we search for the right property and the campaign is ongoing, all donations are held in a low-risk index fund rather than sitting idle on a bank account. The capital is deployed only when a suitable property is found and the project is ready to proceed.

If within five years we have not been able to acquire a property and start the project, we will liquidate the fund position and return your donation to you — including the investment gains earned in the meantime. Your contribution either builds a camp or comes back to you. It does not disappear into overhead.

Not a single euro of donated funds will be used to pay salaries or fees to members of the organization or to persons related to them. Donations go exclusively toward the property, the construction and the directly related costs of the project.

What Donors Receive

Every donor becomes part of the founding story of the camp base, with their support acknowledged permanently on-site. Donors and their children receive VIP access to our camps: priority registration, guaranteed places in the summer sessions of their choice, and invitations to donor events at the completed camp base.

Why interEST

We are growing. In 2021 we organized two events per year; today we run six to seven events every year, and demand keeps rising. We have organized camps for hundreds of children, run international youth exchanges with dozens of partner organizations, and managed EU grant funding with full reporting discipline. A permanent camp base is the natural next step for an organization on this trajectory. We publish our annual reports and will publish campaign-specific financial updates so every donor can see exactly where the money stands.
