Why come to our camp?

  • Activities take place amidst nature, and we spend almost the entire camp outdoors, unless the weather forces us inside;
  • Finding new friends and building friendships;
  • Exciting themes and a developmental schedule provided by our camp leaders;
  • Developing entrepreneurship, resourcefulness, and independence through camp activities.
  • A camp of moderate size. We can notice and engage;
  • Good food! Campers have been satisfied with the cafeteria meals;
Why are we organizing international camp?

Our organization has been in Erasmus+ field and leading workshops and working with international partners even before we started organizing local summer camps in 2021. When talking to international residents, who are working and living in Estonia, many of them share a need for international summer camp for their children. As we are experienced in this field, we thought this is a perfect way to connect our international experience with our local events. This idea is quite spontaneous for us, so we feel safe do this camp as small event and possibly continue this event in next years with more participants.

Who is the summer camp for?

The camp welcomes all children who speak English at a conversational level, aged 8-13 years old. There will be a total of 26 children in the camp.

Where and when does the summer camp take place?

The summer camp will take place from August 4th to 7th, 2024 at Jõulumäe Health and Sports Center in Pärnumaa. A free camp bus departs from Tallinn and Tartu, also there will be return buses, providing a convenient way for children to come to the camp!
At Jõulumäe, children will be staying in modern four-person cabins. Camp leaders will also be staying in one of these cabins, ensuring the safety of the children throughout the camp.

What happens at the camp?

Each year, the camp program consists of different themed days. Although the first day is always for adaptation and the last for recognition, the 2 full days in between are filled with activities and games supporting the theme of the day. This year our days are:
  • adaption
  • cooperation
  • entrepreneurship
  • recognition
Typically, during the full days, we go to the beach every day, and after dinner, there's informal group activity like neon disco, style contest, or singing party. Children can either use the sports facilities independently (such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball courts) or stay protected from insects in a glamping tent that accommodates the entire camp. Usually, the tent is a place for hanging out or playing various social and board games, like the popular role-playing game "Mafia," but it's also where new bands are formed and dance routines are practiced. Additionally, there are various sports equipment available to everyone (different rackets and balls of all sizes), leisure options (various types of swings, musical instruments), and all sorts of games.

How much does a camp ticket cost?

The discounted price for a 4-day camp ticket is €210 (discounted price until May 15), full price €230, which includes:
  • Accommodation in spacious four-person cabins with other campers,
  • 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) plus snack breaks,
  • Guidance from camp leaders in conducting scheduled activities and leisure activities,
  • Materials and souvenirs used in activities.
  • Bus transfer from Tallinn or Tartu
Upon registration, it's possible to pay a deposit of €50, which guarantees a spot for the child in the children's camp!
